Philadelphia, PA (I-Newswire) May 24, 2012 - West German BMW is excited to introduce the new 2013 BMW X3 to their dealership. As a versatile Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV), it blends all-road capabilities and utility with sporty car-like performance and handling. The 2013 BMW X3 is making its debut at the Philadelphia store. This sporty vehicle was all-new in 2011, and combines efficiency, power and technology with its 4-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine.

The 2013 BMW X3 is much like the previous version, but replaces the normally aspirated 6-cylinder engine with a turbo 4-cylinder. The X3 will offer new technology never before offered by introducing new combinations of package and equipment options – a new Driver Assistance Package option (ZDA) with Lane Departure Warning.

BMW has given their customers more standard options in the 2013 BMW X3, more space and increased safety features. The X3 also provides the choice of two trim levels: 28i xDrive and 35i xDrive, the difference being the optional M Sport Package will add 19” wheels to the X3 xDrive 28i.

The new standard equipment offerings for both models are Auto Start-Stop, and Driving Dynamics Control with ECO PRO and the Power Tailgate. The xDrive 28i also gets 18” wheels and chrome-tipped tailpipes, previously only available on the xDrive 35i.

The X3 xDrive x28i and X3 xDrive 35i builds on the original success of the X3 by using technology, packages and options available only for the 5, 6 and 7 BMW Series cars. This will provide more efficiency, agility and comfort in the class segment that the X3 gave birth to in 2004 and defined.
