Orange Dot Technologies Announces Mother’s Day Special Offer on SilverCare Medical Alert System

Free SilverLite Remote Light Switch Activator Provides Added Value to Gift of Safety

Irvine, CA (I-Newswire) April 28, 2012 - Orange Dot Technologies announced today that in honor of Mother’s Day, they will be offering all customers who purchase a SilverCare Personal Safety Alert Device a free SilverLite Remote Light Switch Activator, an accessory that normally sells for $49.99. This promotion will be available through May 13, 2012.

When used in conjunction with a SilverCare System, SilverLite allows a lamp to be turned on and off wirelessly. This is especially important when getting out of bed at night or entering a dark house, since many falls happen due to lack of proper lighting. SilverLite Remote Light Switch Activator works by inserting the SilverLite Activator between a lamp plug and wall outlet. A lamp can then be turned on or off wirelessly by pressing a button on the SilverCare Watch or Pendant. SilverLite can be placed near the front door so one does not have to enter a dark house, or placed in a hallway or bedroom so the path is always clearly lit. SilverLite can be used with any plug-in lamp.

To receive their free SilverLite, customers can call Orange Dot directly, or visit www.orangedottech.com. By clicking on the “BUY NOW” tab, they can purchase the SilverCare/SilverLite package through the Orange Dot Online Store, or visit an authorized reseller and follow their directions.

About SilverCare

SilverCare is a highly advanced personal safety alert device that allows the user to speak directly through their Watch or Pendant. This revolutionary system makes it easier for seniors to remain in their own homes, and enables them to take an active role in managing and monitoring their own health and safety. The benefits extend far beyond those of a traditional medical alert device, without the monthly fees or contracts that are typically associated with these devices.

SilverCare was released in September 2010, and is based upon the company’s proprietary Person-Based Communications (PBC) technology. SilverCare enables two-way emergency voice communication on a Watch or Pendant, clearly differentiating the product from alert systems where one can speak only through a stationary base station. SilverCare gives seniors constant assurance that their voice will always be heard when they press the emergency button.
