Fashion Speaks, an eclectic and creative fuse of fashion, spoken word and performance poetry, will be hosted on Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 7pm – 11pm at BlackEye Soup, 6143 Germantown Avenue, Loft 210, Philadelphia, PA.

This fall, the Office of the City Representative, in partnership with the Philadelphia Retail Marketing Alliance (PRMA), is proud and excited to bring back THE signature fashion event for the City of Philadelphia. The Philadelphia Collection 2011 will run from September 14th through September 24th, 2011. The event encompasses a series of individually produced fashion events over a ten-day period of time, with anchor events produced by several well-established fashion show producers, supplemented by a variety of smaller-scale fashion shows/events, trunk shows, lectures, parties, preview shows and more. The entire series of events that fall under ‘The Philadelphia Collection’ including Fashion Speaks presented by 90degreez...Fashion from a Right Angle.

This unique platform of Fashion Speaks is designed to contribute and promote fashion responsibility by beautifying the exterior you while re-designing & re-fashioning the inner you...90degreez, fashion from a right angle. Spoken word artists with individualistic styles such as Joshua Dingle, Erica Brown and Kevin Dawkins will deliver original, edgy and fashionable pieces that will compliment the high runway fashion show.

Fashion Speaks will hit the runway with Fashion House Academy's (FHA) military themed wear....one line, five collections. Fashion House Academy is a fashion/art leadership and educational program. Also rocking the runway will be the Bold Jewelry collection, custom, hand-made statement jewelry and Venny Etienne’s line The Le’venity Collection. The Le’venity Collection is inspired by Egypt and Greece for his women's collection, and the mid-western culture, for his men’s line.

90degreez has tapped the shoulders of weight-loss Victor LeeAnn Willis to co-host whose weight-loss success story was featured in Shape Magazine, The Today Show and Essence Magazine.
