This new study is really a three part work:

First, it examines the Hebrew prophecies regarding the entity code-named, 'Babylon' – or 'Mega-Babylon', as the author prefers. Have these words already been fulfilled? Or, if not, do they refer to ancient Babylon, the Roman Catholic Church, a world 'super-church', Jerusalem, Brussels – or some other entity?

Second, having convincingly identified the city and nation described in these prophecies, he then proceeds to answer the question: Can we rely on the words of these prophets? What have they predicted that we can say has already come to pass?

He examines some prophecies that, if they did come to pass, would probably constitute the greatest miracle ever witnessed – greater than Mose and the Israelites crossing the Red Sea! Could they actually be in the early stages of fulfillment, today?

This leads to the third section – if their words CAN be trusted, what else did they foretell about the 'last days' and, if we can believe their words, how should we respond and prepare ourselves for apocalyptic events soon to take place?

Raymond McCullough is better known these days for satellite radio (his 'In tha Name a' Gawd!' show broadcasts in North & Central America and the Pacific every week), and his 'Celtic Roots Radio' podcast (and webstation), which is downloaded by around 7,000 listeners, in 106 countries.

However, he previously published the Irish Christian magazine, 'Bread', from 1990-96, and his first book, (co-edited by his wife, author Gerry McCullough), 'Ireland – now the good news!' – now available again in paperback and Kindle editions, and consisting of personal and group testimonies from around Ireland. Another book – based on the stories from his current satellite radio series – is due out soon.

Raymond describes his earlier background in construction and computing as helpful in the writing of the book. He takes what he calls a 'construction approach' to what can often be an emotive topic – building his case brick by brick, passage by passage. "I don't really care if people strongly disagree with my conclusions, just so long as they read it," Raymond says. "When they see some of these events coming to pass they may remember what I've written here and come back to it again."
