5th Edition of India Art Fair 2013

New Delhi, India (I-Newswire) May 29, 2012 - Founded in 2008, India Art Fair is the country's premier art fair and a pioneering platform for modern and contemporary art in India. It has attracted more than 260,000 people over its first four editions, making it among the world's most attended art fairs.
The 5th Edition of India Art Fair (1-3 February, 2013 at NSIC Exhibition Grounds in New Delhi) will include an exciting showcase of painting, sculpture, photography, installation, new media and performance art from India and around the world. This edition will open to doors to around 100 Exhibitors from more than 20 countries presenting 1000 of the most exciting modern and contemporary artists across a 12,000 square metre custom built space created for the art fair.
India Art Fair also includes the Speakers' Forum - a series of highly engaging topical seminars and conversations that brings together an illustrious panel of experts from the art world to discuss key issues pertaining to art in the region and at a global level; Art Projects - includes site-specific sculptures, multi-media installations, and interactive art projects; Curated Walks - range of curated walks are organised for visitors at India Art Fair to explore the diverse art on display; Video Lounge - showcase of a carefully selected avant-garde video art programme by established and emerging artists from India and abroad; a series of Collateral Events provide access to gallery openings, museum exhibitions, artist's studio visits and exclusive social events for collectors and guests and an Art Book Store which holds a whole breadth of publications from Indian and International galleries, museums, and not-for-profit organisations.
