2Toms Donates 10% of Profits to the Bikes Belong Foundation
Through the ‘Be a Hero Challenge,’ 2Toms donated 10% of Profits from Online Orders made between 11/23 and 12/21 to Bikes Belong Foundation, the group that works to encourage more children to ride and make bicycling safer.
Dublin, NH (I-Newswire) January 14, 2013 - 2Toms, makers of BlisterShield®, SportShield®, ButtShield®, Stink-Free® Spray and Stink-Free® Detergent, donated 10% of profits from online sales made 11/23 through 12/21/12 to the Bikes Belong Foundation.
The funds were raised through a virtual event called ‘Be a Hero Challenge’. 2Toms encouraged their customers to buy 2Toms products online and then donate them to a group in need, such as School Athletic Departments, Sporting Groups, Churches, Community Centers, or Youth Programs. In return, 10% profits from this effort were given to the Bikes Belong Foundation.

Throughout the challenge, 2Toms gave their Facebook, Twitter, and Google Plus communities creative ideas for donating a 2Toms product to their favorite charity. In addition, 2Toms gave an online plug to Bikes Belong, the group that works to encourage more children to ride and make bicycling safer.
The Bikes Belong Coalition was formed in 1999 as the national coalition of bicycle retailers and suppliers working to put more people on bikes more often.
