2013 Is Banner Year for Barwize
Barwize, Inc. is expanding both their offices and staffing as well as their services, including food handler training, food manager training, and a scheduling application.
Florida (I-Newswire) March 2, 2013 - 2013 has started off with a bang for Barwize, Inc, south Florida’s answer to online responsible vendor alcohol training. The company has several reasons to celebrate, according to President Eric Mickelson. “First of all, we are excited to have expanded by opening our new Tampa office,” he states. “This is really big for us because the head of this location is our new Director of Compliance, retired Florida Alcohol, Beverage, and Tobacco Captain Keith Hamilton.” Hamilton is a familiar sight to the many Tampa establishments that sell or serve alcoholic beverages, having devoted his career to alcohol compliance and fighting underage drinking. “These are two of the most important goals for Barwize,” Mickelson continues,” especially with Spring Break right around the corner.”
Barwize’s expansion is not limited to location and staffing, however. The company’s owner and operator, south Florida attorney Christina M. Kitterman explains, “…we have also added a bunch of new services that we hope will take Barwize to the next level in responsible vendor training.” She refers to the company’s new food handler training and food manager training courses. Although these classes are not yet available in the company’s unique and innovative online format, they have nonetheless proven very popular with establishments, many of which like the idea of having a “one-stop shop” to take care of not only their responsible vendor alcohol training, but also their food training compliance needs. Another exciting new service is the Barwize scheduling application, which is slated to make its debut in the spring of 2013. Mickelson is very enthusiastic about this offering. “The Barwize scheduling app will revolutionize the way restaurants and bars handle their scheduling,” he states. “An employee will be able to log in using any Internet connection – even a smart phone – and check his or her schedule. The app will even allow scheduling swapping, all online.”
These new advances make it easy to see why Barwize, Inc. has become one of the fastest growing companies in the state, and both Mickelson and Kitterman anticipate more expansion in the near future.
