2013 Buick Verano Turbo Featured at Vann York GM Auto Park

Greensboro, NC (I-Newswire) June 21, 2012 - The all-new 2013 Buick Verano Turbo will be featured at High Point, NC’s Vann York GM Auto Park. This compact sedan is raising the bar for Buick vehicles.

The 2.0L four-cylinder engine is said to generate 250 horsepower and 260 lb-ft. of torque. The Verano Turbo is available in six-speed manual or automatic transmission. Buick claims the Turbo can go from 0 to 60 in only 6.2 seconds, making it one of the quickest compact cars on the market.

The Turbo model will feature standard equipment as well as all the optional features found in the Leather and Convenience packages of the standard Verano. This includes heated leather surfaces on the seats and steering wheel, a premium nine-speaker Bose audio system, sport pedals, dual exhaust and a rear spoiler.

The Verano Turbo will also feature Buick’s IntelliLink infotainment system. This 7” high definition, full-color touch screen radio will enhance the driver’s experience in a whole new way. The system integrates with the driver’s SmartPhone to match music and contacts from the phone to the vehicle. The Intuitive Voice Command system make this hands-free system easy to use by using voice activation technology to call up favorite Pandora stations, call friends or even customize radio stations.

Since testing is still being done, Buick has not announced the fuel economy. However, they do promise the Turbo will drive at least 30 miles per gallon on the highway.
