Fashion Extravaganza & Arts Festival Marks AlphaOne Ahmedabad's 1st Anniversary

Ahembabad (I-Newswire) October 19, 2012 - As a mark of ‘Something special…har baar’ AlphaOne will mark the culmination of their 1st Anniversary Celebrations with a special Fashion Extravaganza along with Shoppers Stop on October 20, 2012. The highlight of the Fashion Show would be that select customers would also be participating along with professional models on the ramp. On the same day, AlphaOne will show art works from the Ahmedabad International Arts Festival (AIAF) by way of a special painting exhibition, ‘Citizens for the City’. Eminent personalities will do paintings and sale proceeds will go to charity. AIAF celebrates the city’s rich architectural legacies with this year’s theme, ‘Making Sacred’, in keeping with the time and the need of the hour. Eminent personalities of Ahmedabad namely, Mr. Philippe Martin, Director, Alliance Francaise; Ms. Madhu Menon, Environmentalist; Mr. Khanjan Dalal, Gallerist; Mr. Abhishek Jain, Filmmaker; Mr. Parmanand Dalwadi, Photographer; Mr. Chinu Modi, Poet, Playwright; Mr. S. D. The Winners included Mr. Sandip Mankame of Lifestyle for the Best Store Manager Award under Anchor category; Mr. Kushal V of Pavers England under Vanilla category; Mr. Narendra Singh of Shoppers Stop won the Best Store Staff Award under Anchor category and Ms. Bhavna R Karankale of Swarovski under Vanilla category. For the Consumer’s choice category Best Store Award was won by Lifestyle under Anchor; Levi’s under Vanilla and Cinepolis under Entertainment category, among other deserving winners.
